YES, if taking a Team or Recital class.
NO, if taking a Non-Recital recreational class.
We offer 3 levels of dance commitment.
Recital Classes have seasonal in-studio performances and perform on stage at our formal Spring Recital. Purchasing a recital costume, recital ickets and paying the recital particpation fee is required for these classes. Recital is a fun celebration of a year of dance accomplishments!
**Please Note: If enrolled in a Recital class, participation in Recital is expected.
Performance Team classes are for dancers interested in additional performance opportunities at parades, dance festivals, charity benefits, dance conventions, theme parks, and professional sporting events as well as our formal Spring Recital. Team is by invitation and evaluation only and students must take required Team classes.
Non-Recital Classes are non-recital classes that feature small in-studio performances for family in October, December and May. No costume or tickets needed. Includes the same level of instruction as other classes, but with no on stage performance to commit to.
Yes. We offer a free trial class for new students, in classes with available space. Please email info@expressions-dance-arts.com to set up your trial class. ***based on available space in class***
Tuition can be paid online by credit card when you register, and will be collected by autopay the beginning of each month, on or near the 1st of each month. Our online registration system uses a 3rd party credit card collection system for cyber security, and EDA will not have access to your credit card information. To drop a class for a subsequent month, a 2-week notice by email is all that is required. For more information, visit our Tuition Page.
Only if you want to dance for the entire year. We offer classes from August - May or June (depending on date of Spring Recital), and we also have a short summer session in June and July. There is no long-term commitment; however, space is limited in classes and we cannot save a space for your dancer if you wish to take a break during the school year.
Please Note: We plan classes based on enrollment, and require a 2-week notice, by email, to drop a class for a subsequent month.
Being on our studio's Performance Team is much more of a time and financial committment than being in a Recital class. However, being on Team provides students the opportunity to perform on stage multiple times over the course of the dance season, a chance to dance in the community, and fun events such as professional sporting events and theme park performance opportunities. Team is for ages 8+ by invitation or evaluation only. Please email info@expressions-dance-arts.com if you are interested in joining our Performance Team.
Our annual Recital will always be in May or June depending on theater availability. As soon as we have secured a venue, we will release our recital date. Since 2022, our Recital has always been the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend at Dublin High School's theater.
