About Us

Expressions Dance & Arts is a family-friendly dance and performing arts studio in the heart of Pleasanton. Our goal is to provide high-quality dance instruction for all ages in a welcoming, supportive, and professional environment.  We strive to help all students reach their maximum potential and for parents to enjoy their child's dance journey.  Expressions focuses on the artistry, love, and joy of dance, and we recognize that students benefit from a balance of family, school, community, and the arts.

We feature Non-Recital Classes with in-studio seasonal performances, Recital Classes with seasonal in-studio performances and a formal performance at our annual spring recital, and a Performance Dance Team that performs at dance festivals, parades, charity benefits, theme parks, dance conventions, professional sporting events and at our annual recital. 

At Expressions, all students receive high-quality dance instruction from experienced staff. We offer classes in Jazz, Ballet, Tap, Hip-Hop, Lyrical, Contemporary and fusions of these styles starting at age 2.5.

In 2012, Sandy Maloney founded Expressions Dance & Arts for her three daughters and to provide an encouraging and supportive environment to celebrate dance and the arts.
