The intern program is part of Leaping into Leadership, our professional development program for Teen team dancers in the studio.
We are looking for four (2 in-person and 2 virtual) candidates this summer who are interested in any of the opportunities below. More candidates may be accepted if logistics allow, but it is possible that not all projects will be pursued this season.
Can be Remote 4-6 weeks
Create a comprehensive brand guide and design templates for our social media posts. You'll develop a consistent visual style and tone that reflects our brand, ensuring all content is cohesive and engaging.
Skills you'll develop: graphic design, branding, and social media strategy.
In-person required 4-8 weeks
Design and implement a social media calendar to plan and schedule our posts. You'll coordinate with different teams to ensure timely and relevant content is published, helping to maintain a strong online presence.

Design and build an online store for EDA to facilitate the sale of EDA swag, recital shirts, tights, and more. You'll have exposure to the end to end logistics of setting up an online store including web design and integrating with multiple platforms.

Collaborate with EDA's hip-hop instructor to discover songs, and design music mixes. You'll use music editing skills to create dynamic mixes for team and recital performances.
Skills you'll develop: music editing, theme development, and collaboration.
In-person required. Rolling basis
Learn basic music editing skills such as cutting, crossfading, and speed modulation to create mixes for recreational and recital pieces. This project is perfect for those interested in music production. Mac laptop with GarageBand Required.

Work with EDA's web master to review and update the content across the website to reflect our new offerings for the 2025-2026 season. You'll work on User Interface and User Experience (UI/UX) design from inception to execution.
